Better shot of the Bluebird.

Well I got around to setting the shot up a little better. I used my 100mm Macro at about 6 ft with Speedlite 420 EX on the hot shoe as fill flash. Turned out a little better. Hope you like.

The bluebirds are nesting and here is one getting ready to enter the box. I set up one of my 350D's outfitted with a 300mm f/4L IS. It was set up @ 12 feet from the box. I put UHF shutter release on and sat on the porch 150 feet away and waited. ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/400sec. Next time I will set up a flash on the camera and a slave flash a little closer to get better exposure of the bird.

Spilled something or other.

I had this idea several months ago and finally got around to doing something about it. I was rather pleased with my results.

Got this shot a few hours before the Super Bowl between the Steelers and Cardinals. If I'd had time, I'd have photoshopped a Pittsburg Steeler t-shirt on the sparrow.

Bottles for the Bath

I got out the studio lights to take this shot. These are some colored bottles that we have. I am presently renovating my Dad's house after buying it from his widow. We plan to print and frame this shot and hang it in the master bath. Terri (my wife) will also decorate the bath with these same bottles. I thought the shot turned out well.
